Troops marching back after the State visit of President of India

By Jon Davey
The Royal parade in Windsor 27th Oct 09

It was amazing... the Household Cavalry rode past us... the Irish Guards played their hearts out on their way to greet the Indian President...

Household Cavalry riding back to barracks on State visit of President of India

I shot some great footage and pushed it out LIVE via LIVEstream ... so anyone who looked at the home page of business in Windsor would have seen this today.

We could hear the guns saluted from Home Park...

Charlie and I were on the corner of Sheet Street and Park Street...

I switched to Twitvid so I had it captured for posterity ... it struggled, I have since learned that Twitter were having problems at the time!

I tried to get footage of the band of the Irish Guards as they marched up to the castle but Twitvid was struggling to take it...

Then, without much warning, the Household Cavalry returned at a quick trot with carridges and Royals, Presidents and future Kings ...

I pressed record and held my mini laptop up in the air...

I watched with my eyes aghast in sheer amazement as 500 horses rounded the corner we were on, we had the best view, and we have it in our hearts and minds ... cos Twitvid let us down when we needed it most !

Got some footage of the guys marching back to barracks ... will find time to load that up ...

It's great living in Windsor ... we have some great days ...

Check these photos out of the Royal Wedding

... click the link or Google Charles and Camillas wedding ... whichever you find easiest!!
