I've been producing and supporting the design and development of bespoke e-Learning and distance learning solutions for businesses, education and other development companies for nearly 20 years. Sectors include retail banking, finance, insurance, aviation, oil, and education at all stages from primary through secondary, FE, adult learning and university. I've lost track, but I've been involved in the development of several thousand hours of materials. I also have a strong background in microbiological research from an earlier life.

I work mostly as an independent consultant/advisor/developer but also take on full or partial projects through my company Interactive Developers Ltd through which I work with other companies to write and develop materials. Most of the work is developed in Flash and other web-based tools but for smaller projects and interactive help guides/walkthroughs and prototypes we use Captivate.

I also offer advice on SCORM and Accesibity of web-based content.
